In early 2024, Handoff — Play It Forward reached out to a youth football program, the Motor City Chiefs, identified as needing equipment to outfit their players for the upcoming season.
We contacted several programs in the suburban Detroit area that might be able to provide youth-sized equipment. We were fortunate to connect with Holy Family Regional School in Rochester Hills, Michigan, which had numerous unused youth-sized shoulder pads to donate.
Our charity was able to fulfill the Chiefs' needs and help them outfit their players for the season.
