An entire athletic program, outfitted

Our biggest success to date — donations from three suburban schools equipped football and baseball at a newly founded program.

Biggest success to date

Cornerstone Lincoln King Academy in Detroit, Michigan is our biggest success story to date. After soliciting numerous high-school athletic programs throughout metropolitan Detroit, Handoff was contacted by Divine Child High School, Notre Dame Preparatory High School and De La Salle High School — each of which donated equipment across multiple sports that we were able to deliver to Lincoln King Academy.

The school had only recently founded its varsity football program and, at the time of the donation, had just approved boys' and girls' baseball programs for spring 2025 as well as a lacrosse team.

Our charity assembled enough equipment from the three suburban schools to outfit the varsity football team with both practice and game pads, to outfit a junior varsity program for 2025, and to fully equip the boys' and girls' baseball teams with mitts, bats, catcher's equipment and baseballs.
