In early 2024, Handoff – Play It Forward reached out to a youth football program, Motor City Chiefs, that was identified as in need of football equipment to outfit their players for the upcoming season. Handoff – Play It Forward contacted several programs in the suburban Detroit area that might be able to assist in providing youth sized equipment to meet this need. We were fortunate to have connected with Holy Family Regional School in Rochester Hills, Michigan, which had numerous unused youth sized shoulder pads that they were able to donate. Our charity was able to fulfill the needs of the Motor City Chiefs and help them outfit their players for the season.
